Founded in 2024, the Growth Academy’s Skills Bootcamps focus on helping small business owners, solopreneurs and employees build confidence in essential business skills such as sales, use of AI, entrepreneurship and retail through a coaching-based approach rather than traditional presentations.
The Growth Academy has achieved exceptional recognition with their January 2025 Ofsted evaluation receiving “significant progress” ratings across all themes – a gold standard achievement in UK education. Do you have to attend the live sessions or is there an online self-service option?
Students are required to attend live learning sessions and actively participate in the course, both to meet funding requirements and to support their own development. While we understand that attending every session may not be possible for everyone, we will make reasonable accommodations where we can. However, a minimum attendance level is mandatory, and failure to meet this requirement may result in removal from the course.
What support is available during the course?
Your lead trainer will provide guidance and support throughout the Skills Bootcamp. We aim to accommodate any learning needs you share with us, and additional assistance is available if you find it challenging to keep up with the course content.
Can I attend a Skills Bootcamp if I'm not a UK citizen?
Yes you can. We will ask for evidence such as your right to work code.
Can I attend more than one Skills Bootcamp a year?
No, unfortunately the funding only allows one skills bootcamp course per a financial year (April-April)
How do I know which course is right for me?

How big are the classes?
On average we have 20 students per Skills Bootcamp.
