Schools Careers Guidance Programme

From September 2026, the Skills & Business Hub will be launching a new Careers Guidance Programme for Schools. 

As the organisation that delivers the Berkshire Careers Hub, we work closely with schools, colleges, employers and strategic partners to support the continuous improvement of careers education. This gives us a unique insight into: 

• The responsibilities schools face in delivering effective careers guidance 

• National expectations and frameworks shaping provision 

• Local and regional labour market needs 

• What high‑quality, impactful careers programmes look like in practice

We are supporting education providers in delivering high‑quality, independent careers guidance that meets statutory requirements and aligns with the Gatsby Benchmarks, while strengthening meaningful connections between education and the world of work. 

Our team includes experienced, qualified careers professionals alongside specialists in employer engagement, allowing us to take a connected and practical approach to guidance, inspiration and progression.
