AI Talent Integration Pathway
The AI Talent Integration Pathway, delivered by The Skills and Business Hub and Tech Educators, helps Berkshire’s small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) hire entry-level talent with practical AI and digital skills that can add value to organisations from day one.
Connecting local talent to local tech jobs
Candidates complete Tech Educators’ 10-week Digital Innovators Programme, gaining hands-on experience with AI tools, digital workflows, data handling and problem-solving. These learners are then matched to local employers based on their skills and the business’ needs, ensuring organisations can access talent that supports their digital and AI ambitions.
Employers hiring through the programme receive a £2,000 Integration Fund, funded by the UK Government. This funding can be used towards onboarding costs such as hardware, software licences and staff time, helping to reduce the cost of recruitment.
Additionally, every placement is supported with three months of post-placement mentoring, providing ongoing support for both the employer and employee to maximise success.
