Community Tech is a Newbury-based software company building custom web apps, internal tools and websites for small businesses, charities and public sector teams across West Berkshire and beyond. We focus on the practical software smaller organisations usually can’t get from a big agency: booking systems, member portals, automation that takes the repetitive admin off people’s plates, and fast, well-built websites.

The company is led by James Lawrence, who has spent over 20 years building software for major UK organisations across financial services, telecoms and government. Community Tech brings together a small, hand-picked network of senior developers, designers and project managers, scaling the team up or down to fit each project. Clients get enterprise-level quality at small-agency prices, with one person who stays accountable from first conversation through to delivery and support.
