Speaker biographies:
Alice Castle (left) and Sarah Parfitt (right) are award‑winning producers and media trainers with over 30 years’ international experience in journalism, PR and production. Between them, they’ve worked on programmes and projects across BBC 5 Live, Radio Four, BBC World Service, CGTN, WNYC and the BBC Academy, as well as training numerous business founders and leaders how to get the attention of the media. They run regular Media Training workshops for charities, businesses and organisations at the Chartered Institute of Marketing and for the Media Trust and recently trained delegates from four different charities in Ethiopia.
Feedback from one delegate:
The workshops gave us the confidence to tell our story authentically, to understand what our ‘hook’ could be, how to generate press interest, and enabled us to practice all these skills in a supportive learning environment.
Sarah is also the founder of The Media Hub, a leading media networking group in Berkshire which has hosted guest-speakers including Michael Parksinson, Lorraine Kelly and Ross Kemp.
