As part of a partnership with Generation Logistics, Futures For All are delivering a series of events over the summer.
Thursday the 7th of May there is an online national broadcast, taking place from 2pm – 3pm: Smart Thinking for a Sustainable Future , where Generation Logistics and ASDA will be talking about how sustainability meets logistics.
Logistics is like solving a giant real-life puzzle—one that actually helps the planet 🌍. Every day, people in logistics figure out faster routes, reduce pollution, and keep the world’s goods moving smoothly. We’re joined by Generation Logistics & ASDA to unpack how a career in logistics makes a real difference. You’ll be hearing from Oli Hunt, the role of Senior Director for Central Logistics at ASDA, a role that offers huge variety!
As well as introducing students to the sector, it will also be a great stepping stone for students interested in applying to a 3-day live remote work experience programme (24th–26th June), Solve What Moves The World with Generation Logistics, open to students aged 14 – 19.
Attendance at the talk can be referenced as part of their application.
