At Grant Thornton, we’re on the lookout for ambitious Year 12 and 13 students who are interested in a future career in accounting and finance.

Our 2025 Ignite Work Experience Programme is a fantastic opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience, develop key employability skills, and explore what a career with a leading professional services firm could look like.

This four-day programme, running in the last week of August, will provide students with real insight into the world of accounting and finance. Even more excitingly, those who excel during the programme will have the opportunity to secure a full-time apprenticeship with us—launching their career straight after school!

We will be running it in the following locations:
Oxford –Cambridge –Chelmsford –Reading–Bristol -Milton Keynes

To ensure they don’t miss out, students can register their interest now using the link.

Those who sign up will be the first to know when applications go live next month:

Before applying to Ignite, take a moment to consider whether a school leaver programme aligns with your long-term goals. We know this is an exciting yet overwhelming time, with so many opportunities to explore. However, Ignite is designed specifically for those looking to transition into a school leaver programme – so if that sounds like the right path for you, we’d love to see you apply.
