Low Temperature Heating

This specialist renewable heating programme combines four industry-recognised qualifications, giving you a structured and practical pathway into low-carbon heating technologies.

Designed for qualified plumbers and heating engineers, the training develops the technical knowledge and hands-on skills needed to design, install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot modern renewable heating systems while working towards the competence requirements associated with MCS-certified heat pump installations.

Throughout the programme, the emphasis is on practical application. Rather than learning systems in isolation, you’ll develop an understanding of how renewable heating technologies work together within a complete domestic installation. By the end of the training, you’ll have the confidence to work with air source heat pumps, low-temperature heating systems, hydronic circuits and underfloor heating solutions in real-world environments.
